BONE OCEAN THUG POPPING SERIES (CHUGGER & STICKBAIT)

The chugger model was designed with a superior action blank that provides sufficient power for bigger GT. With a length of 7’10”, it has a well balanced stiffer front section for working bigger cupped poppers and yet providing easy loading on the cast, which reduces fatigue throughout the day. The enhanced rolling process of the blank provides a forgiving experience while fighting fish. It is the ultimate rod for monster class GT.

The Stickbait model was designed for targeting trophy class GT with stickbaits. With stickbaits getting more productive on GT game in the recent years, BONE developed this model with a powerful backbone, yet keeping the softer top section for working stickbaits gracefully on each sweep. It is feather-light in weight, and retaining its blank with its key feature of the easy lifting power but providing maximum pressure on the fish. The Stickbait 8’0” model also feature a super easy load on the cast, and maximises the performance when casting throughout the day with less fatigue. Smaller cupped poppers are suitable with the rod when required, making it an all round big game GT casting rod.

The Stickbait 8’3” model was designed with a medium fast action and a better recoil when casting stickbaits. The concept of the rod was designed with big game Tuna fishing in mind, hence the softer action for cushioning the long runs of trophy Tuna. With a longer length of 8’3”, it provides further casting distances especially when casting to frenzying Tuna. It can work smaller cupped poppers when required, making it the ideal choice of rod when targeting big game Tuna.
